The Learning Fair was honored by the presence of our Guest of Honour, the Executive Secretary of Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde, along with esteemed guests including the Dasho Dzongrab, the TEO of Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde, the Principal, and teachers of Samdrup Jongkhar Primary School (SJPS). We were also privileged to have judges from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) and the Dzongkhag Administration, who played a crucial role in evaluating the science exhibits.
The Learning Fair is a significant annual event that provides students with the opportunity to showcase their classroom learning through real-life applications. Each subject department displayed its exhibitions for other students to observe and learn from, fostering a spirit of discovery and innovation.
The day began with the Guest of Honour and other distinguished guests visiting the various exhibitions presented by our students. The judges focused particularly on the science exhibition, which featured models created using ICT, Python programming, and several working models. The creativity and technical skills displayed in these exhibits left a lasting impression on the judges.
In the afternoon, the event was further enriched by the participation of staff and students from Don Bosco School, students from SJPS, and monks from the Dzongkhag Dratshang. This diverse gathering offered a valuable opportunity for our students to learn and gain insights from the different exhibits, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the teachers and students whose dedication and hard work made this fair a grand success. Their efforts in preparing and presenting the exhibits were instrumental in making this event memorable and impactful for everyone involved.
